to be downloaded to your computer before it could be played.
However, VMI changes this by creating dynamic presentations
using streaming video and audio. Instead of having to wait
a long time for a file to be completely downloaded, video
and audio can be played back as the file is delivered, or
streamed, to the local machine. In addition, the streamed
file does not remain on the user's computer and therefore
